#Cultivate15 Live Blog
It’s the time of year when a whole crew of us from Bob’s Market head to Columbus, OH for AmericanHort’s Cultivate trade show and conference. This year follow along with me, John Morgan, here on our blog. Also, check out our Twitter feed and Facebook for updates throughout the weekend.
Lessons from The Garden
One of my earliest memories as a child is following grandpa through the garden as he tilled between the rows with a push cultivator. My grandpa and my dad taught me everything I know about gardening. Growing up on a small farm in a small West Virginia community had an enormous impact on my life. Gardening is a great way to teach children lessons that will continue to grow throughout their lives.

Walt Helmick Visits Bob's
Last Wednesday, we were glad to have Commissioner Walt Helmick from the Department of Agriculture stop by for a visit and tour. While on the tour he got to see our seed storage cooler with over 3,000 varieties of seeds, plants that will be going to the Greenbrier Resort, and all of the folks that keep Bob's Market running smoothly.
