Beekeeping is a hobby that is gaining in popularity across the US, and with concerns over honeybee health over the past few years it is a topic we are very interested in. At this workshop you will hear from Scott Carpenter, an avid beekeeper, as he shares his experiences in beekeeping. Also, we'll share some great information on how we can all promote healthy pollinator populations.
Join us as we hear from Jenny Ridenour, Education Coordinator and District Technician for the Meigs Soil and Water Conservation District. She is going to be sharing a presentation on vermiculture, the process of using worms to decompose organic food waste, turning it into amazing compost your plants will love!
We have limited seating so there will only be 30 seats available!
