Grandmother’s
Daisy
Mason County Quilt Trail
In
September of 2009 Bob’s Market and Greenhouses, Inc. became the
newest addition to the National Quilt Trail with our square entitled
“Grandmother’s Daisy”. The square was designed and built by
students from Mason County
Career Center in conjunction with the Mason County Tourism Office and
the Mason County Quilting Association.
The
square is on display on the southwest corner of our wholesale
division’s production facility (or the Big Red Building as we like
to call it) in Mason, WV. You are welcome to stop by and take
pictures of the square and you can request a tour of the greenhouse
behind the Big Red Building.
If you
are interested in taking a tour, please come to our corporate offices
(the brown building) located at the other end of the parking lot from
the square. Tours generally take thirty minutes to one hour
depending on the season. On the tour you will see the processes and
machinery that we use to grow seedlings and finished product for
wholesale distribution. You will also get to tour part of our
massive twenty acre greenhouse facility.
